Appointment of the DPO

Engineer Vincenzo Consorti, Tax Code CNSVCN61E05E343Z, email: dpo@setek.it, is the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Setek S.r.l. and Setek Consulting S.r.l.

In accordance with Article 39, paragraph 1 of the GDPR (or RGPD, as per the Italian abbreviation), EU Regulation 2016/679, he is entrusted with the following tasks and responsibilities:

​

  • Informing and advising the data controller or processor, as well as employees involved in data processing, regarding obligations under the GDPR and other Union or Member State data protection provisions

​

  • Monitoring compliance with the GDPR, other applicable data protection laws, and the data protection policies of the controller or processor, including assigning responsibilities, raising awareness, and training staff involved in processing and related control activities

​

  • Providing, when requested, advice on data protection impact assessments and monitoring their execution pursuant to Article 35 of the GDPR

​

  • Cooperating with the Data Protection Authority

​

  • Acting as a point of contact for the Data Protection Authority on matters related to processing, including prior consultation under Article 36, and conducting consultations on any other relevant issues when necessary
